Nicaraguan Bungalows, Eco-Resorts and Lodges
Haciendas and Ecolodges in Nicaragua Nicaragua has developed a lot in the past years and due to its development the ecotourism facilities and habitations increased in popularity. Therefore many lodges have been created in isolated regions. Only after you woke up to the sound of birds and step out into the splendor of nature you'll get a clear image of the place. Eco-accommodations offer many activities, such as tours, horse riding, and sports. For relaxing and reflecting this is the ideal Nicaragua accommodation. You are certain to have a fantastic holiday with such a variety of accommodations. Most bungalows sit on a cliff overlooking the private bay and estuary, perfect for viewing the sunset disappear into the Pacific Ocean.. The architect has used mainly local materials and the wooden furniture was custom made by local artisans. A turbulent past gives Nicaragua an edge that is appealing to adventurous travelers the same as Cambodia or Vietnam do. That is why in one way Nicaragua is virgin land.
One step at the time international travelers is discovering its
charm. For most of them the country main attraction is the southern
stretch of Pacific Coastline. The farm is placed in the north part of San Juan del Sur. It is situated at two hours from the colonial city of Granada in southern Nicaragua and 45 minutes drive from the Costa Rica border. The hacienda has its own primary tropical dry forest ecosystem and a private, white sanded beach visited by sea turtles to lay their eggs. The fifteen guest bungalows were built in an old, growth tropical forest. The forest is situated a few hundred feet above the surf, on a pealing hillside that arched to form the south end of the bay. The bungalows easily integrated in the surrounding nature just like everything else at Morgan's Rock Hacienda. The only things that were visible from the path were their thick locus wood doors set in high walls of white stone and their peaked thatched roofs.
