Nicaragua by Boat
is a Must See | Nicaraguas Coasts and Archipelagos' It remains one of the poorest countries in the Western Hemisphere, but is now at peace and is relatively safe for travel. This country is the land of spectacular volcanoes, the largest lake in Central America, colonial Granada. All this, along with the Caribbean beaches like
Bluefield and some good Pacific beaches, are attracting more
tourists every year. The travelers are willing to overlook
Nicaragua's turbulent past and still underdeveloped tourist
infrastructure and take advantage of Nicaragua's relatively low
prices. In 1524, Captain Francisco Hernandez de Cordoba was the one who based the city. In its past it was most overwhelmed city by pirates, was destroyed during the civil wars and in 1856 William Walker set the city on fire. In spite of all this, Granada still is one of the most beautiful cities in Nicaragua. You would have the chance to visit interesting
places, to appreciate the special architecture of the City and in
the end you will have the possibility to see the charming islands of
Lake Nicaragua. For those who love to be in contact with nature,
this part of the world is a genuine paradise. San Juan del Sur is a peaceful village in a bay on the Pacific coast of southern Nicaragua. In the agreeable bay one can encounter small private yachts and commercial fishing boats. The citizens of San Juan del Sur earn their living by fishing, diving and catering to the visitors drawn to the bay's beautiful white sand beaches, smooth waters and ecological richness.
